Stephanie Genco has spent the last decade on Capitol Hill, working in Congressional campaigns, communications, and House Republican leadership. Before joining S-3, she served as the Deputy Policy Director for the National Republican Congressional Committee, the campaign arm of House Republicans where she specialized in tracking legislative policy impacting Republican incumbents, challengers, as well as targets. She served as the primary policy point of contact for House candidates, providing interview and debate prep, in-depth policy briefings, and rapid-response talking points.
Genco previously worked for then Chief Deputy Whip Peter Roskam (R-IL) as his Communications Director, advising on messaging strategy and crisis communications during the marquee events of the 112th and 113th Congress, including fiscal cliff negotiations, the government shutdown, and debt limit. She previously served as Communications Director for then-freshman Congresswoman Diane Black (R-TN). During the historic 2010 election cycle, Genco worked on the NRCC Independent Expenditure as the lead researcher on 21 House races across the country.
